Married an illegitimate daughter of Hugh Kevelioc, Earl of Chester, with an eldest son (David, inherited the territorial Barony of Malpas, ancestor of the EGERTONs) and a youngest son (Richard), a 2nd son.1 He was feudal Lord of half the Barony of Malpas including Calmundelai, in right of his wife.1
