     Louis Alexander Villiers was born in 1902.1 He was the son of Rear-Admiral Edward Cecil Villiers and Anne Gordon Haynes-Smith.2 He married Muriel Sinclair Liddell, daughter of Colonel J. S. Liddell and Baroness unknown Porcelli, on 8 September 1939.1 He and Muriel Sinclair Liddell were divorced in 1963.1 He died on 22 May 1970.1
     Louis Alexander Villiers gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Norfolk Regiment.1 He was Queen's Messenger between 1955 and 1967.3
