     Julia Carbajo was born on 17 February 1884 at Valladolid, Castile, SpainG.1 She was the daughter of Saturio Carbajo.1 She married Valentine Shakespear, son of Talbot Powney Shakespear and Antonia Francisca Carmen Mas, in 1910.1
     From 1910, her married name became Shakespear.1

Govett, on 20 October 1944.1 She married, thirdly, Major Richard Vernon Lea on 19 January 1949.1 She died in 1976.3

     He held the office of Member, State Council [Ceylon] in 1939.1
