     Captain Robert Alexander Villiers was born on 3 April 1908.1 He is the son of Evelyn Charles Arthur Villiers and Dorothy Katherine Lane.2 He married, firstly, Leila Alexandra Findlater, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Alexander Victor Findlater, on 7 January 1933.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Mary Friend, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Arthur Leslie Irvine Friend, on 21 December 1939.1 He and Elizabeth Mary Friend were divorced in 1958.1 He married, thirdly, Irene Mary Ellis-Jones, daughter of William Ellis-Jones, on 8 July 1960.1 He died in 1990.1
     Captain Robert Alexander Villiers usually went by his middle name of Alexander.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Korean War between 1950 and 1952.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1952.1

     Lt.-Col. William Alexander Victor Findlater was born, edllC Harrow, and Trin College Dublin, m 23 Jan 1904 Leila (d 29 June 1968), dau of Thomas Blackwell, of Merrion Square, Dublin, on 19 March 1880.3 He is the son of William Huffington Findlater.2 He died on 28 March 1957 at age 77,.3
     Lt.-Col. William Alexander Victor Findlater was Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).3 He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow on the Hill, London, England.3 He lived at The Croft, Tenterden, Kent, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Irish Fusiliers.1
