     Paul Humphrey Clarke was born on 17 June 1891.1 He was the son of William Alexander Clarke and Helen Woodward.2 He married Joyce Chicheley Plowden, daughter of Richard Chicheley Plowden, on 25 September 1927.1 He died on 17 July 1946 at age 55.1
     Paul Humphrey Clarke gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Garrison Artillery (Special Reserve).1 He was decorated with the award of Military Cross (M.C.).1

     Angela Mary Cleaver is the daughter of Thomas George Cleaver.2 She married Paul Ivor Clarke, son of Paul Humphrey Clarke and Joyce Chicheley Plowden, on 13 April 1963.1
     Angela Mary Cleaver was registered as a Registered Sick Children's Nurse (R.S.C.N.) in 1954.1 She was registered as a Registered General Nurse (R.G.N.) in 1958.1 From 13 April 1963, her married name became Clarke. She lived in 2003 at Elgon, Tilsmore Road, Heathfield, Sussex, England.1
