Mary Thompson was the daughter of Robert Thompson.1 She married Sir Samuel Clarke, 1st Bt., son of John Clarke and Margaret Bourne.1 She died between 3 August 1720 and 12 December 1720.1 Her will (dated 3 August 1720) was probated on 12 December 1720.1

Sir Robert Clarke, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Samuel Clarke, 1st Bt. and Mary Thompson.1 He married Mary Barnardiston, daughter of Arthur Barnardiston and Mary Lloyd, before 1712.1 He died in November 1746.1
Sir Robert Clarke, 2nd Bt. was admitted to Gray's Inn on 23 June 1701.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cambridgeshire between April 1717 and 1722.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Clarke, of Snailwell, co. Cambridge [E., 1698] on 8 March 1719.1

Sir Samuel Clarke, 3rd Bt. was born on 12 May 1712.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Clarke, 2nd Bt. and Mary Barnardiston.1 He died on 10 November 1758 at age 46, unmarried.1

Sir Robert Clarke, 4th Bt. was born on 22 January 1714.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Clarke, 2nd Bt. and Mary Barnardiston.1 He married Elizabeth Littel before 1763.1 He died on 18 August 1770 at age 56.1 His will was probated in November 1770.1
