     Richard Thomas Assheton was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He was a Housemaster at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Cambridgeshire Regiment.3 He gained the rank of Temporary Major in the service of the Machine Gun Corps.3 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War.3
