Sir Albert Conyngham was the son of Alexander Conyngham and Marian Murray.1 He married Margaret Leslie, daughter of Rt. Rev. Henry Leslie.2 He died at Colooney, County Sligo, Ireland, killed by rapparees.1
Sir Albert Conyngham gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1660 in the service of the Ordnance of Ireland.2 He fought in the Battle of the Boyne in 1690, for King William III.2 He fought in the Siege of Limerick in 1691.2
