     Cecil Dick Bluett Coventry was born on 14 July 1905.1 He was the son of Gilbert William Coventry and Georgina Blanche Bluett.1 He married Anne Josephine Hale Sherwood, daughter of Major H. J. Sherwood, in 1939.1 He died on 6 January 1952 at age 46.1
     Cecil Dick Bluett Coventry gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the service of the Royal naval Rerserve.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was decorated with the award of Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.).1 He was decorated with the award of Royal Naval and Royal Marine Forces Reserve Decoration (R.D.).1
