     Mary Croke is the daughter of Sir George Croke and Mary Bennett.1,2 She married Sir Harbottle Grimston, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Harbottle Grimston, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Coppinger, on 16 April 1629 at St. Dunstan's-in-the-West Church, London, EnglandG.1
     From 16 April 1629, her married name became Grimston.1

     Sir George Croke was born circa 1560.2 He was the son of Sir John Croke and Elizabeth Unton.2 He married Mary Bennett, daughter of Sir Thomas Bennett and Mary Taylor, circa 1610.2 He died on 16 February 1642 at Waterstock, Oxfordshire, England.2
     He held the office of Justice of the Court of Common Pleas.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bere Alston in 1597.2 He was appointed Knight in 1623.2

     Sir Harbottle Grimston, 1st Bt. was born circa 1570.1 He was the son of Edward Grimston and Joan Risby.1 He married Elizabeth Coppinger, daughter of Ralph Coppinger.1 He died on 19 February 1647/48.1
     He was appointed Knight in March 1603/4.2 He was created 1st Baronet Grimston, of Bradfield, co. Essex [England] on 25 November 1611.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Essex from 1614 to 1615.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Harwich from April 1614 to May 1640.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Essex in 1626.2 In 1627 he was imprisoned for refusing to pay the forced loan demanded by King Charles I.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Essex from 1628 to 1629.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Harwich from November 1640 to February 1647/48.2
