Thomas Henry Farrer, 1st Baron Farrer1

     Thomas Henry Farrer, 1st Baron Farrer was born on 24 June 1819.1 He was the son of Thomas Farrer and Cecilia Willis.1 He married, firstly, Frances Erskine, daughter of William Erskine, on 10 January 1854.1 He married, secondly, Katherine Euphemia Wedgwood, daughter of Hensleigh Wedgwood and Frances Emma Mackintosh, on 30 May 1873.2 He died on 11 October 1899 at age 80.1
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.1 He was Permanent Secretary to the Board of Trade.1 He was created 1st Baronet Farrer [U.K.] on 22 October 1883.1 He was created 1st Baron Farrer, of Abinger, co. Surrey [U.K.] on 22 June 1893.1
