     James Watt was born on 19 January 1736 at Greenock, Scotland.2 He was the son of James Watt and Agnes Muirhead.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Miller in 1763.2 He married, secondly, Ann Macgregor in 1775.2 He died on 25 August 1819 at age 83 at Heathfield, Sussex, England.2 He was buried at St. Mary's Church, Handsworth, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.2
     James Watt has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.2
      He had another son and a daughter by his first wife, and a daughter by his second wife. One of these daughters is Margaret.2

     Shirley Worthington is the daughter of John Ramsay Worthington.2 She married Sir Anthony Henry Fanshawe Royle, Baron Fanshawe of Richmond, son of Sir Lancelot Carrington Royle and Barbara Rachel Haldin, in 1957.1
     From 1957, her married name became Royle. As a result of her marriage, Shirley Worthington was styled as Baroness Fanshawe of Richmond on 27 September 1983.
