     Cornelius O'Callaghan was the son of Timothy O'Callaghan.1 He married Maria Jolley, daughter of Robert Jolley.1 He died in 1761.2
     He lived at Shanbally, County Tipperary, Ireland.2 He had two older sons, who both died unmarried.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Fethard.1 He was a practising lawyer.1
