     Lt.-Col. Maurice Nicholl Kennard was born in 1883.3 He was the son of Robert William Kennard and Rose Byass.2 He died on 1 July 1916, killed in action.3
     Lt.-Col. Maurice Nicholl Kennard was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 6th Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers).1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Yorkshire Regiment.3
