     Vernon Francis Leese was born on 20 February 1870.1 He was the son of Sir Joseph Francis Leese, 1st Bt. and Mary Constance Hargreaves.2 He married Edythe Gwendoline Stevenson, daughter of Charles Frederick Stevenson, on 31 October 1900.1 He died on 3 August 1927 at age 57.1
     Vernon Francis Leese was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.1

     Lt.-Col. Neville Leese was born on 23 March 1872.1 He was the son of Sir Joseph Francis Leese, 1st Bt. and Mary Constance Hargreaves.2 He married Matildau Saunders, daughter of J. Saunders, in 1893.1 He died in 1948.1
     Lt.-Col. Neville Leese was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1 He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1
