     Vernon Francis Leese was born on 20 February 1870.1 He was the son of Sir Joseph Francis Leese, 1st Bt. and Mary Constance Hargreaves.2 He married Edythe Gwendoline Stevenson, daughter of Charles Frederick Stevenson, on 31 October 1900.1 He died on 3 August 1927 at age 57.1
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.1

     Edythe Gwendoline Stevenson was the daughter of Charles Frederick Stevenson.2 She married Vernon Francis Leese, son of Sir Joseph Francis Leese, 1st Bt. and Mary Constance Hargreaves, on 31 October 1900.1 She died on 15 October 1929.1
     From 31 October 1900, her married name became Leese.

     Lt.-Col. Neville Leese was born on 23 March 1872.1 He was the son of Sir Joseph Francis Leese, 1st Bt. and Mary Constance Hargreaves.2 He married Matildau Saunders, daughter of J. Saunders, in 1893.1 He died in 1948.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1
