     Mary Audrey Martin was the daughter of John Martin.2 She married Robert Lynd Erskine Lowry, Baron Lowry, son of Rt. Hon. William Lowry, in 1945.1 She died in 1987.1
     From 1945, her married name became Lowry. After her marriage, Mary Audrey Martin was styled as Baroness Lowry on 18 July 1979.

     Gordon Ramsay Macdonald, 2nd Baron Macdonald of Gwaenysor was born on 16 October 1915.1 He was the son of Gordon Macdonald, 1st Baron Macdonald of Gwaenysor and Mary Lewis.2,1 He married Leslie Margaret Taylor, daughter of John Edward Taylor, on 6 May 1941.1 He died on 27 January 2002 at age 86.1
     He was educated at Upholland Grammar School, Upholland, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Manchester University, Manchester, Lancashire, EnglandG, in 1938 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the Second World War, in the Middle East, India, Burma and Malaya, and was mentioned in despatches.1 He graduated from Manchester University, Manchester, Lancashire, EnglandG, in 1939 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Assistant Secretary of Lancashire Associated Collieries in 1939.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1 He was Admin Officer for the Board of Trade in 1946.1 He was UK Trade Commissioner of Australia between 1947 and 1953.1 He was managing director of Tube Investment (Exports) Ltd.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Macdonald of Gwaenysgor, of Gwaenysgor, co. Flint [U.K., 1949] on 20 January 1966.1 He was a senior executive of the Plessey Group.1 He was chief executive of Hayek Engineering Ltd.1 He lived in 1999 at Littleworth House, Littleworth Common, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1 On his death, his title became extinct.1
