     Sir William Browne de Montmorency, 5th Viscount Mountmorres was born on 21 April 1832.1 He was the son of Sir Hervey de Montmorency, 4th Viscount Mountmorres and Sarah Shaw.1 He married Harriet Broadrick, daughter of George Broadrick and unknown Fletcher, on 12 November 1862.1 He died on 25 September 1880 at age 48 at Rusheed, Ballincode, County Galway, Ireland, murdered.1
     Sir William Browne de Montmorency, 5th Viscount Mountmorres succeeded to the title of 12th Baronet Morres on 23 January 1872. He succeeded to the title of 5th Baron Mountmorres, of Castlemorres, co. Kilkenny [I., 1756] on 23 January 1872.1 He succeeded to the title of 5th Viscount Mountmorres [I., 1763] on 23 January 1872.1 He also had two daughters.1
