Sir John Owen, 1st Bt. was born in 1776.1 He was the son of Joseph Lord and Corbetta Owen.2 He married, firstly, Charlotte Phillips, daughter of Reverend John L. Phillips, in 1800.1 He married, secondly, Mary Frances Stephenson, daughter of Edward Stephenson, on 21 October 1830.1 He died on 6 February 1861.1
Sir John Owen, 1st Bt. was baptised with the name of John Lord.1 On circa 1809 his name was legally changed to John Owen on inheriting the estate of Sir Hugh Owen, 6th Bt.1 He was created 1st Baronet Owen, of Orielton, co. Pembroke [U.K.] on 12 January 1813.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Pembrokeshire.1 He held the office of Governor of Milford Haven.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Pembroke District between 1838 and 1861.1

Sir Charles Morgan, 2nd Bt. and Mary Margaret Stoney, on 12 April 1825.3 He married, secondly, Henrietta Fraser Rodney, daughter of Captain Hon. Edward Rodney, on 28 October 1845.3 He died on 5 September 1891.3
