     William Owen was born in 1832.1 He was the son of Sir Hugh Owen, 2nd Bt. and Angelina Maria Cecilia Morgan.2 He married Bessie Reynolds, daughter of Walter Reynolds, on 31 October 1861.1 He died on 30 November 1889.1
     William Owen gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the 52nd Regiment.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1

     From 28 October 1845, her married name became Owen.
