     Edmund Plowden was the son of Edmund Plowden and Elizabeth Cotton.2 He married Penelope Drummond, daughter of Sir Maurice Drummond.1 He died on 27 November 1677.1
     Edmund Plowden lived at Aston-le-Walls, Northamptonshire, England.1 He lived at Plowden, Shropshire, England.1 He had four other sons, all Jesuits.1

     Francis Plowden was the son of Edmund Plowden and Elizabeth Cotton.2 He married Mary Stafford-Howard, daughter of John Stafford-Howard, on 1 October 1699.1 He died in April 1712.1
     Francis Plowden held the office of Comptroller of the Household to King James II.1
