     Isabel Fane was the daughter of Major John Augustus Fane.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Francis High Plowden, son of Charles Joseph Plowden and Eliza Bryan, on 14 April 1885.1 She died on 27 February 1914.1
     From 14 April 1885, her married name became Plowden.
