     Sally Ann Dickson was born on 16 July 1942. She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. John David Logan Dickson and Elizabeth Daphne Fane.1 She married Lt.-Col. John Alan Cubitt Blakiston, son of John Francis Blakiston and Margaret Dora Ward-Jackson, on 30 May 1975.1
     From 30 May 1975, her married name became Blakiston.1
