Vice-Admiral Hon. Sir Richard Augustus Sandys Hill was born on 2 April 1880.1 He was the son of Captain Arthur Blundell George Sandys Hill and Helen Emily Chenevix Trench.1 He died on 5 July 1954 at age 74, unmarried.1
