     Sir Ronald Compton Stewart, 2nd Bt. was born on 14 August 1903.¹ He was the son of Sir Percy Malcolm Stewart, 1st Bt. and Cordelia Rickett.² He married Cynthia Farmiloe, daughter of Harold Farmiloe, on 10 June 1936.¹ He died on 26 January 1999 at age 95, without issue.¹
     Sir Ronald Compton Stewart, 2nd Bt. was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.¹ He was educated at Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Stewart, of Stewartby, co. Bedford [U.K., 1937] on 27 February 1951.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Bedfordshire in 1954.¹ He was chairman of London Brick between 1966 and 1979.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Bedfordshire in 1974.¹ On his death his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Cynthia Farmiloe was the daughter of Harold Farmiloe.² She married Sir Ronald Compton Stewart, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Percy Malcolm Stewart, 1st Bt. and Cordelia Rickett, on 10 June 1936.¹ She died in 1987.¹
     From 10 June 1936, her married name became Stewart. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Bedfordshire in 1941.¹ She was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1959.¹
