     Charles Debenham Bennett was born on 26 July 1835 at Worcester, Worcestershire, England.1 He married Jessie Dunlop, daughter of James Dunlop and Sarah Cole, on 25 January 1875 at Speldhurst, Gisborne, New Zealand.1 He died on 9 March 1903 at age 67 at Gisborne, New Zealand.1

     Lady Elizabeth Douglas is the daughter of George Douglas, 4th Earl of Angus and Isabel Sibbald.1 She married, firstly, Alexander Ramsay of Dalhousie, son of Alexander Ramsay.1 She married, secondly, Thomas Livingstone after 1482.1
     She was also known as Anne.1 Her married name became Ramsay.1 From after 1482, her married name became Livingstone.1

     Sir Alexander Boswell, 3rd of Balmuto married Elizabeth Ramsay, daughter of Alexander Ramsay of Dalhousie and Lady Elizabeth Douglas.1 He died on 9 September 1513 at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England, killed in action.2
     He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513.2
