     Margaret Sandilands is the daughter of Sir James Sandilands of Calder and Mariot Forrester.2,3 She married Sir James Dundas of Dundas, son of Sir William Dundas of Dundas and Margaret Wauchope, before 28 June 1551.1 She married William Wauchope of Niddry Marischal in 1560.2
      From before 28 June 1551, her married name became Dundas. From 1560, her married name became Wauchope.2

     George Dundas of Dundas is the son of Sir James Dundas of Dundas and Margaret Sandilands.2 He married, firstly, Margaret Boswell, daughter of David Boswell, 4th of Balmuto.1 He married, secondly, Catherine Oliphant, daughter of Laurence Oliphant, 3rd Lord Oliphant and Margaret Sandilands.1
     He held the position of 17th Chief of the Name and Arms of Dundas in 1553.1
