     Sir Walter Dundas of Dundas was the son of George Dundas of Dundas and Margaret Boswell.2 He married, firstly, Janet Oliphant, daughter of Sir Alexander Oliphant of Kellie and Katherine Leslie.1 He married, secondly, Anne Monteith, daughter of unknown Monteith of Carse.1 He died circa 1634.1
     Sir Walter Dundas of Dundas held the position of 18th Chief of the Name and Arms of Dundas.1 He was invested as a Knight on 19 February 1593 at the baptism of King James VI and I's son, Henry.1
