     Andrew Thomas Foley was born on 30 June 1937.1 He is the son of Major Henry Thomas Hamilton Foley and Helen Constance Margaret Pearson.1 He married, firstly, Gillian Brown, daughter of William Carleton Brown, on 26 March 1968.1 He and Gillian Brown were divorced in 1994.1 He married, secondly, Melanie Jacqueline Westall-Reece between 1994 and 1999.2
