     Maurice Charles Prendergast Vereker was born on 21 August 1884.1 He was the son of Captain Hon. Foley Charles Prendergast Vereker and Ellen Amelia Wilshere.1 He married Winifred Joan Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, daughter of Alberic Arthur Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes, on 15 November 1928.1 He died on 26 July 1963 at age 78.1
     Maurice Charles Prendergast Vereker fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Horse Artillery.1 He was decorated with the Military Cross (M.C.).1
