     Archibald Colville of Peninver and Drumgarve was baptised on 30 November 1726.3 He was the son of Robert Colville of Tradigal and Margaret Cuthbertson.2 He married Elizabeth Templeton in January 1752.1 He died between 1772 and 1780.1
     In 1755 he acquired Peninver.1 In 1772 he acquired Drumgarve.1
