     Robert Colville of Drumgarve was baptised on 8 May 1753.1 He was the son of Archibald Colville of Peninver and Drumgarve and Elizabeth Templeton.2 He married Janet Ferguson, daughter of Archibald Mitchell by Mary Ferguson.1 He died on 29 May 1835 at age 82.1
     He had another son and two daughters (who all died young).1
