     Sir William Mary Joseph Codrington, 5th Bt. was born on 12 March 1829.¹ He was the son of Sir William Raymond Codrington, 4th Bt. and Anne Mary de Bonabon.² He married Mary Roskell, daughter of Robert Roskell, on 12 April 1866.¹ He died on 1 March 1904 at age 74.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Codrington, of Dodington, co. Gloucester [G.B, 1721] on 17 December 1873.¹

     Robert Roskell lived at Park House, Fulham, London, England^G.¹

     Mary Roskell was the daughter of Robert Roskell.² She married Sir William Mary Joseph Codrington, 5th Bt., son of Sir William Raymond Codrington, 4th Bt. and Anne Mary de Bonabon, on 12 April 1866.¹ She died on 1 September 1915.¹
     From 12 April 1866, her married name became Codrington.

     Lt.-Col. Sir William Robert Codrington, 6th Bt. was born on 18 April 1867.¹ He was the son of Sir William Mary Joseph Codrington, 5th Bt. and Mary Roskell.² He married Joan Rogers, daughter of Harry Adams Rogers, on 25 April 1903.¹ He died on 7 November 1932 at age 65.¹
     He fought in the North-West Frontier between 1897 and 1898.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Codrington, of Dodington, co. Gloucester [G.B, 1721] on 1 March 1904.¹ He gained the rank of Captain and Brevet Major in the 11th Hussars.¹

     George Raymond Codrington was born on 14 August 1868.¹ He was the son of Sir William Mary Joseph Codrington, 5th Bt. and Mary Roskell.² He died on 15 January 1939 at age 70, unmarried.¹

     Alexander Joseph Codrington was born on 9 August 1870.¹ He was the son of Sir William Mary Joseph Codrington, 5th Bt. and Mary Roskell.² He married Mary Roskell, daughter of Nicholas R. Roskell, on 24 July 1905.¹ He died on 19 July 1941 at age 70, without issue.¹

     Nicholas R. Roskell lived at Warwick Gardens, London, England^G.¹

     Mary Roskell was the daughter of Nicholas R. Roskell.² She married Alexander Joseph Codrington, son of Sir William Mary Joseph Codrington, 5th Bt. and Mary Roskell, on 24 July 1905.¹ She died on 25 October 1928.¹
     From 24 July 1905, her married name became Codrington.

     Charles Arthur Codrington was born on 7 August 1878.¹ He was the son of Sir William Mary Joseph Codrington, 5th Bt. and Mary Roskell.² He died on 10 December 1902 at age 24 at Rennes, France^G, drowned.¹
