     Patience Hargreaves Pigott-Brown was born posthumously on 15 February 1915.1 She is the daughter of Captain Gordon Hargreaves Brown and Editha Ivy Pigott.2 She married F/O Charles Augustus Lee Steere, son of Sir Ernest Augustus Lee Steere, on 15 February 1939.1
     From 15 February 1939, her married name became Lee Steere.1 She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1

     F/O Charles Augustus Lee Steere was the son of Sir Ernest Augustus Lee Steere.2 He married Patience Hargreaves Pigott-Brown, daughter of Captain Gordon Hargreaves Brown and Editha Ivy Pigott, on 15 February 1939.1 He died on 27 May 1940, killed in action over Dunkirk.1
     F/O Charles Augustus Lee Steere fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the service of the Auxiliary Air Force.1
