     Louesa Smith is the daughter of Lewis Smith and unknown wife (?).1 She married, firstly, Major Arthur Forest before 1805.2 She married, secondly, General Sir Robert Henry Cunliffe, 4th Bt., son of Sir Foster Cunliffe, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Kinloch, on 15 December 1805.2 She died on 4 May 1822.2
     From before 1805, her married name became Forest.2 From 15 December 1805, her married name became Cunliffe.

     General Sir Robert Henry Cunliffe, 4th Bt. was born on 22 April 1785.3 He was the son of Sir Foster Cunliffe, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Kinloch.2 He married, firstly, Louesa Smith, daughter of Lewis Smith and unknown wife (?), on 15 December 1805.3 He married, secondly, Susan Emily Paton, daughter of Colonel John Paton, on 2 April 1825.3 He died on 10 September 1859 at age 74.3
     General Sir Robert Henry Cunliffe, 4th Bt. was invested as a Knight in 1829.3 He gained the rank of General in the service of the Bengal Army.3 He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Cunliffe, of Liverpool [G.B., 1759] on 15 June 1834.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).3
