     Frank Cunliffe was born on 8 July 1839.1 He was the son of General Sir Robert Henry Cunliffe, 4th Bt. and Susan Emily Paton.2 He died on 24 March 1878 at age 38, unmarried.1
     Frank Cunliffe gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 58th Regiment.1
