     Henry Robert Stapleton Cotton was born on 8 June 1859.¹ He was the son of Henry Calveley Cotton and Georgiana King.² He married Isabella Scott Johnstone, daughter of John Johnstone, on 12 September 1900.¹ He died on 25 January 1946 at age 86, without issue.¹
     Henry Robert Stapleton Cotton gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 1st Battalion, Oxon Light Infantry.¹ He gained the rank of Major and Chief Recruiting Officer between 1914 and 1918.¹ Between 1918 and 1919 he served with the Red Cross Ambulance, French Army.¹

     From before 1900, her married name became Lyon.¹ From 12 September 1900, her married name became Cotton.

     Willoughby Lynch Cotton was born on 22 August 1863.¹ He was the son of Henry Calveley Cotton and Georgiana King.² He married, firstly, Rosina Mary Adelaide Jones, daughter of Andrew Jones, in 1888.¹ He married, secondly, Eleanor Mary Sprott, daughter of James Henry Sprott, in April 1916.¹ He died on 6 January 1918 at age 54, while on active service.¹
     Willoughby Lynch Cotton gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 3rd Battalion Shropshire Light Infantry.¹

     
     Andrew Jones lived at Shelton, Shropshire, England.¹

     Rosina Mary Adelaide Jones was the daughter of Andrew Jones.² She married Willoughby Lynch Cotton, son of Henry Calveley Cotton and Georgiana King, in 1888.¹ She died on 29 January 1914.¹
     From 1888, her married name became Cotton.

     Vyvian Stapleton Cotton was born in 1889.¹ He was the son of Willoughby Lynch Cotton and Rosina Mary Adelaide Jones.² He died on 23 April 1973, unmarried.¹
     Vyvian Stapleton Cotton was the matron at Polack's House, Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England.¹

     Frances Georgina Cotton was the daughter of Henry Calveley Cotton and Georgiana King.² She died on 11 November 1936.¹
