     Eloisa Alice Cotton was the daughter of Henry Calveley Cotton and Georgiana King.² She married Lt.-Col. Henry Vane Russell on 3 April 1888.¹ She died on 2 November 1906.¹
      From 3 April 1888, her married name became Russell.

     Lt.-Col. Henry Vane Russell married Eloisa Alice Cotton, daughter of Henry Calveley Cotton and Georgiana King, on 3 April 1888.¹ He died in August 1914.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 3rd Battalion, Shropshire Light Infantry.¹

     Matilda Eloisa Cotton was the daughter of Reverend Henry Calveley Cotton and Eloisa Mostyn-Owen.² She married Reverend Charles Orlando Kenyon, son of Hon. Thomas Kenyon and Louisa Charlotte Lloyd, on 15 August 1844.¹ She died in 1892.¹
      From 15 August 1844, her married name became Kenyon.

     Hon. Thomas Kenyon was born on 27 September 1780.² He was the son of Lloyd Kenyon, 1st Lord Kenyon and Mary Kenyon.³ He married Louisa Charlotte Lloyd, daughter of Reverend John Robert Lloyd, on 21 April 1803.² He died in November 1851 at age 71.²

     Reverend Charles Orlando Kenyon was born on 28 September 1816.² He is the son of Hon. Thomas Kenyon and Louisa Charlotte Lloyd.³ He married Matilda Eloisa Cotton, daughter of Reverend Henry Calveley Cotton and Eloisa Mostyn-Owen, on 15 August 1844.¹ He died on 6 November 1890 at age 74.²
     He was Vicar Moreton, Shropshire.² He was Reserve Decoration (R.D.).²

     General Sir Sydney John Cotton was born in December 1792.¹ He was the son of Henry Calveley Cotton and Matilda Lockwood.² He married Marianne Hackett, daughter of Captain unknown Hackett, in 1820.¹ He died on 20 February 1874 at age 81.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the 10th Foot.¹ He gained the rank of General.¹ He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.).¹ He was the Governor in 1874 at Royal Hospital, Chelsea, London, England.¹ He had another son and two daughters.¹

     Captain unknown Hackett gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 22nd Light Dragoons.¹

     Marianne Hackett was the daughter of Captain unknown Hackett.² She married General Sir Sydney John Cotton, son of Henry Calveley Cotton and Matilda Lockwood, in 1820.¹ She died in 1854.¹
      From 1820, her married name became Cotton.

     Maj.-Gen. Lynch Stapleton Cotton was born on 21 December 1828.¹ He was the son of General Sir Sydney John Cotton and Marianne Hackett.² He married Jane Gordon Inglis, daughter of James Inglis, on 20 March 1855.¹ He died on 7 March 1899 at age 70.¹
     He was the Commandant at Royal Hibernian Military School, Scotland.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General.¹

     James Inglis lived at Fairley, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹
