     John Baker Graves was born in 1796.2 He was the son of Reverend John Graves and Catherine Anne Baker.1 He married, firstly, Louisa Bellew, daughter of Robert Bellew.1 He married Anne Howlin, daughter of James Howlin, in 1827.1
     John Baker Graves held the office of a Judge [Ceylon].1 He lived at Fort William, County Wexford, Ireland.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1
