     Hugh Massy was born on 10 July 1800.1 He was the son of Hon. George Massy and Elizabeth Onge.2 He married Mary Anne Gahan, daughter of Major Beresford Gahan, on 11 July 1834.1 He died in 1886.1
     Hugh Massy lived at Tullow Lodge, County Carlow, Ireland.1

     Mary Anne Gahan is the daughter of Major Beresford Gahan.2 She married Hugh Massy, son of Hon. George Massy and Elizabeth Onge, on 11 July 1834.1
     Mary Anne Gahan gained the rank of Major in the service of the 5th Dragoons.1 From 11 July 1834, her married name became Massy.

     Beresford Massy was born on 15 May 1840.1 He was the son of Hugh Massy and Mary Anne Gahan.2 He married Elizabeth Harriet Read, daughter of Reverend G. H. Read, on 14 April 1869.1 He died on 13 March 1878 at age 37.1
