Hon. Eyre Massy was born on 13 February 1757.1 He was the son of Hugh Massy, 1st Baron Massy of Duntrileague and Rebecca Delap.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Leighton, daughter of John Leighton.1 He married, secondly, Phoebe Head, daughter of General John Head.1 He died in November 1828 at age 71.1
