     Lawrence Peel Massy was born in 1883.1 He was the son of Reverend Xavier Peel Massy and Harriet Emily Hurlstone.2 He married Constance Jean Anne Galletly, daughter of John James Galletly, on 27 October 1914.1 He died on 22 September 1932.3
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy Reserve.1 He was decorated with the award of the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1917.1

     Major Arthur Lawrence John Peel Massy was born on 12 January 1916.1 He was the son of Lawrence Peel Massy and Constance Jean Anne Galletly.2 He married Margaret Alison Sharpe, daughter of Reverend Ernest Bell Sharpe, in 1943.1 He died on 29 July 1992 at age 76 at White Roe Hospital, Isle of Man.3,4
      Major Arthur Lawrence John Peel Massy also went by the nick-name of Algy.4 He fought in the Second World War.3 He gained the rank of Major in the service of the 1st Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment.1
