     Ann Berkeley was the daughter of Sir Maurice Berkeley and Catherine Blount.2,1 She married Sir Nicholas Poyntz, son of Matthew Poyntz and Winifred Wild, on 16 June 1583.1 She died circa May 1625.1 She was buried on 26 May 1625.1
     From 16 June 1583, her married name became Poyntz.1

     Thomas Poyntz was born in 1571.1 He was the son of Matthew Poyntz and Winifred Wild.2 He married Elizabeth Basset, daughter of Edward Basset.1 He died in 1657.1
     In 1623 he signed the pedigree entered at the Heralds' Visitation of Gloucestershire.1 He lived at Bencombe, Uley, Gloucestershire, England.1
