     Margaret Alice Poyntz was born on 27 August 1876.1 She was the daughter of Reverend Newdigate Poyntz and Margaret Julia Sweeting.2 She married Robert Francis Tanner, son of Alfred Tanner, on 14 October 1909.1 She died on 18 March 1959 at age 82.1
     From 14 October 1909, her married name became Tanner.1
