     Hugh Spencer Stephen Poyntz was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Marines.1 He lived in 1965 at Maidstone, Kent, England.1 He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.).3
