     Helena Adelaide Sara Davies-Cooke was the daughter of Bryan George Davies-Cooke and Judith Caroline Halsted Poole.2 She married Lt.-Col. Basil Edwin Philips on 12 February 1896.1 She died on 19 April 1943.1
     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Flintshire.1 From 12 February 1896, her married name became Philips. She was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1920.1

     Lt.-Col. Basil Edwin Philips married Helena Adelaide Sara Davies-Cooke, daughter of Bryan George Davies-Cooke and Judith Caroline Halsted Poole, on 12 February 1896.1 He died on 10 August 1915, killed in action.1
     He lived at Rhûal, Mold, Flintshire, Wales.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 5th Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     Reverend George Robert Davies-Cooke was born on 29 May 1836.1 He was the son of Philip Davies-Cooke and Lady Helena Caroline King.2 He married Diana Parker, daughter of Henry Yarborough Parker, on 10 February 1863.1 He died in 1910, without issue.1
     He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was the Vicar at Hythe, Hampshire, England.1
