     Helena Adelaide Sara Davies-Cooke was the daughter of Bryan George Davies-Cooke and Judith Caroline Halsted Poole.2 She married Lt.-Col. Basil Edwin Philips on 12 February 1896.1 She died on 19 April 1943.1
     Helena Adelaide Sara Davies-Cooke held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Flintshire.1 From 12 February 1896, her married name became Philips. She was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1920.1

     Lt.-Col. Basil Edwin Philips lived at Rhûal, Mold, Flintshire, Wales.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 5th Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers.1 He fought in the First World War.1
