     Diana Jean Coote was born on 14 November 1914.1 She was the daughter of John Methuen Coote and Leonore Wray Trench.2 She married Edmund Luxmoore, son of Allan Aylmer Luxmoore, on 1 June 1946.1 She died on 22 October 2004 at age 89.3
     Diana Jean Coote was Senior Commander with the Auxiliary Territorial Service during the Second World War.1 She was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1946.1 From 1 June 1946, her married name became Luxmoore.
