     Cecilia Maud Coote was born on 29 June 1911.1 She was the daughter of Charles Chenevix Coote and Alice Maud Crozier.2 She married, firstly, Benjamin Thomas Bowman on 21 December 1935.1 She and Benjamin Thomas Bowman were divorced in 1945.1 She married, secondly, Mortimer Wilmot Bennitt, son of Frederick Wilmot Bennitt, on 25 March 1950.1 She and Mortimer Wilmot Bennitt were divorced in 1952.1 She married, thirdly, John Ainsworth Gordon, son of George Sutton Gordon, on 19 January 1962.1 She died in January 1999 at age 87.1
     From 21 December 1935, her married name became Bowman. From 25 March 1950, her married name became Bennitt.1 From 19 January 1962, her married name became Gordon.1
