     Leopold Stokowski was born on 18 April 1882 at London, England.1 He was the son of Kopernik Jozef Boleslawowicz Stokowski and Annie Marion Moore.1 He married, firstly, Olga Samaroff in 1911.1 He and Olga Samaroff were divorced in 1923.1 He married, secondly, Evangeline Love Brewster Johnson in 1926.1 He and Evangeline Love Brewster Johnson were divorced in 1937.1 He married, thirdly, Gloria Laura Madeleine Sophie Vanderbilt, daughter of Reginald Claypoole Vanderbilt and Gloria Laura Mercedes Morgan, on 21 April 1945.1 He and Gloria Laura Madeleine Sophie Vanderbilt were divorced in October 1955.1 He died on 13 September 1977 at age 95 at Nether Wallop, Hampshire, England.1
     Leopold Stokowski was baptised with the name of Antoni Stanislaw Boleslawowicz.1 He was educated in 1896 at Royal College of Music, London, England.1 He graduated from Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1903 with a Bachelor of Music (M.B.).1 He was a classical conductor.1
