     Robert Porrett Collier, 1st Baron Monkswell of Monkswell was born on 21 June 1817.² He is the son of John Collier and Emma Porrett.³ He married Isabella Rose Rose, daughter of William Rose Rose, on 14 April 1844.²

Plymouth 1852–71, Slr-Gen 1863–66, Attorney-Gen 1868–71, Judge Common Pleas 1871, Judge Judicial Ctee PC, knighted 1863 in 1843.² He was Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1854.² He was Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1871.² On 1 July 1885 so created.²

     Marian Huxley was born in 1859.² She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Thomas Henry Huxley and Henrietta Anne Heathorn.^1,2 She married Hon. John Collier, son of Robert Porrett Collier, 1st Baron Monkswell of Monkswell and Isabella Rose Rose, in 1879.¹ She married Hon. John Collier, son of Robert Porrett Collier, 1st Baron Monkswell of Monkswell and Isabella Rose Rose, on 30 June 1879.³ She died on 18 November 1887.³
      From 1879, her married name became Collier.¹

     Henrietta Huxley was born in 1863.¹ She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Thomas Henry Huxley and Henrietta Anne Heathorn.¹ She married Harold Roller.¹ She died in 1940.¹
      Her married name became Roller.¹ She was a singer.¹

     Joyce Collier was the daughter of Hon. John Collier and Marian Huxley.¹ She and Leslie Crawshay Williams were divorced.² She married, firstly, Leslie Crawshay Williams, son of Arthur John Williams, on 27 April 1906.² She married, secondly, Drysdale Kilburn, son of Nicholas Kilburn, on 2 November 1918.² She died on 21 November 1972.²
     She was portrait miniaturist, memb Royal Society Miniature Painters.² Her married name became Williams. From 2 November 1918, her married name became Kilburn.

     Drysdale Kilburn was the son of Nicholas Kilburn.² He married Joyce Collier, daughter of Hon. John Collier and Marian Huxley, on 2 November 1918.³ He died on 13 March 1940.³

     Ethel Huxley was born in 1866.² She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Thomas Henry Huxley and Henrietta Anne Heathorn.^1,2 She married Hon. John Collier, son of Robert Porrett Collier, 1st Baron Monkswell of Monkswell and Isabella Rose Rose, on 1 April 1889 at Norway.³ She died on 11 May 1914.³ She died in 1941.²
      From 1 April 1889, her married name became Collier.¹

     Sir Laurence Collier was born on 13 June 1890.¹ He was the son of Hon. John Collier and Ethel Huxley.² He married Eleanor Antoinette Watson, daughter of William Luther Watson, on 31 May 1917.¹ He died in 1976.¹
     He was educated Bedales and Balliol College Oxford.¹ He was with the Diplomatic Service.² He was Clerk FO , 2nd Sec Tokyo 1919–21, Counsellor FO 1932–41, Minister to Norwegian Government in London 1941, Amb Extrdy and Plen Oslo 1945, ret 1951 in 1913.¹ He was Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1944.¹

     Noel Huxley was born in 1856.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Thomas Henry Huxley and Henrietta Anne Heathorn.¹ He died in 1860.¹
