     Blair Hamilton Cochrane was born on 22 April 1853.1 He was the son of Basil Edward Arthur Cochrane and Sally Caroline FitzGerald.2 He married Beatrice Elizabeth Laura Grant, daughter of John Henry Grant, on 18 September 1899.1 He died on 17 May 1926 at age 73.1
