     Very Rev. Alexander Alcock was born in 1665.1 He was the son of John Alcock.1 He married Jane Mason, daughter of Sir John Mason.1 He died in 1747, leaving issue.1
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1688 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1692 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Chancellor of the Waterford Diocese in 1699.1 He held the office of Dean of Lismore in 1725.1
